Marie-Pier is a Medical Student at McGill University (class of 2017). She completed Med-P and was a member of the McGill Martlets basketball team until 2015. She is curently VP Student Affairs for the Canadian Federation of Medical Students and she wishes to pursue a career in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
A reflective essay based on a true patient interaction during Marie-Pier's Third Year Pediatrics rotation. Through the narrative, she explores the concept of non-maleficence, doubt, guilt and responsability in patient outcomes. Physicians aim to Do No Harm, but is that ever possible?
