Call for Peer Reviewers
The McGill Journal of Medicine (MJM) is an international, externally peer-reviewed, open access, student-led medical journal.We are looking for senior PhD students (PhD3+), post-docs, residents (R2+), fellows, and faculty members/attendings to serve as external peer reviewers for our journal. Experience as first author on at least one peer reviewed publication is recommended.
The scope of our journal includes a wide variety of topics spanning the field of health and medicine, including medicine, surgery, nursing, PT/OT, dentistry, medical humanities, medical education, biomedical sciences, physiology, pharmacology, etc. As such, we welcome peer reviewers of all backgrounds and research interests.
By participating as a reviewer, you will be added to our database of peer reviewers. You will be invited to review articles that match your research interests and expertise. You will receive an email with the title and abstract and an option to accept or decline the invitation. Reviews are generally expected within 4 weeks.
As a reviewer, you will be contributing to the early career development of medical and graduate students. In addition, for PhD students/post-docs/fellows/residents, you will gain useful experience completing peer review.
